The Jerusalem Design Week will be launched during a festive opening gala. The public is invited to stroll among the various sites, to view the exhibitions, to meet the designers and to view unique design presentations for the opening evening, including a live presentation of the project “Plate Recorder” by Liat Segel and Ro’ee Maayan, the project “sprouting 1,2”, led by Merav Peretz, inviting the public to complete two large-scale typographical embroidery, and additional live activities throughout the events and exhibitions of Design Week. During the gala evening, the Gatsby Peacock cocktail bar will be operating at all Design Week sites and the public will be invited to enjoy ‘Flora’ pizzas, refreshments from the Ofaimme Farm Café, live music and live performances in the Hansen House garden
